One Day I Will Be

One Day, I Will Be

One day I will be smooth as concrete,
hard as a smoothie, soft as a diamond.
I will be pure as impurity,
dark as a bright spot,
fast as a turtle racing against the wind.

I will be loud as silence,
silent as thunder, sharp as a circle,
and fragile as iron rusting in the rain.
I will be broken like wholeness,
perfect like flaws stitched with gold.

One day I will be heavy as a feather,
light as a mountain carried in a sigh.
I will be lost in the crowd,
yet louder alone,
a shadow glowing brighter than fire.

I will be cold as flames,
warm as ice,
a storm standing still,
a whisper that shouts eternity.

One day I will be endless as pause,
timeless as seconds running on broken clocks.
I will be faithless like devotion,
loyal as betrayal,
stronger than weakness, weaker than strength.

I will be everything that makes no sense,
and yet, somehow, make sense to those
who dare to see contradiction
not as chaos—
but as truth.
